Serenity was just a young girl, a young unpopular girl, who didn't quite fit in anywhere. With little to none true friends and yearning for a belonging, Serenity immediately jumps in when she gets the chance to start new.
Moving across seas, Serenity's life changes in ways she never expected. At school she's surrounded by the popular crowd, thriving in this new chance she'd always wanted, and having a place to belong. But soon, she'll learn it wasn't always what she thought it was. Friends aren't always true, being popular doesn't always mean your liked, and belonging isn't just amongst society, it's amongst yourself as well.
As her grapple on her life slowly fades, Serenity has to navigate her life with chains pulling her down, a darkness covering her back, and a way to manage it all. And it's up to Serenity whether or not she can pull through or if she chooses to take the ‘easy’ way out.
